We highly recommend that you and/or all other attendees please refrain from posting event photos, status updates, and/or making comments in regards to the event on any social media sites until after your deployed family member receives their package. We believe that your deployed family member will appreciate our services more if they get to experience the event for the first time while holding our photos in their hands versus having it played out for them on social media sites.
By filling out the above application(s) you acknowledge to have read the following disclaimer:
Dear Photos from Home Project Family,
I would sincerely like to thank you for using our services. I personally understand what your family is going through while your deployed family member misses out on precious memories and moments. I recognize the importance of our services and what they mean to you and your deployed family member. Our military service members are phenomenal, it takes a very strong person to make the sacrifices required to serve our country and we wholeheartedly support them in everything they do.
Therefore I would like to ask that you, as the stateside family member, take our services very seriously. We take your request(s) with the utmost sincerity and would appreciate the same courtesy. Our sponsors have graciously donated their money while our volunteer photographers have volunteered their time, equipment, and expertise for our cause, a cause that benefits you and your family. Our photographers have rearranged their schedules to fit your needs. They are given specific information with very thorough instructions on how to process your family's request.
We ask that you please advise all other attendees of your event to also respect our volunteer photographers and their privacy. If other people are going to attend the event, please make them aware that we ask that our photographers be left out of any photos they may take. We also highly recommend that they refrain from posting their photos, status updates, and/or comments in regards to the event on any social media sites until after your deployed family member receives their package.
We have instructed our photographers to politely ask everyone attending the event to respect them and their privacy. They are also instructed to recommend to all of those who are attending the event to not post any photos, status updates and/or any comments in regards to the event on any social media sites. We believe that your deployed family member will appreciate our services more if they get to experience the event for the first time while holding our photos in their hands versus having it played out for them on social media sites. If our photographers believe that their privacy is being jeopardized or if they feel that they are being disrespected, they will contact our staff members. We will instruct our photographer to leave immediately and your request will not be fulfilled. We do not foresee this happening, and hope that it does not happen, but we are gracious enough to advise you of our protocol. Our sponsors and volunteers are very limited and we take their donations and time with the utmost gratitude and sincerity. Our services are much needed and we take all requests genuine consideration.
Please be advised that as a non-profit organization, we have the right to deny any request that does not fit our mission and/or our goal.
We thank you again for using our services!
If you and/or your family have any questions at all, please feel free to contact me directly at (843) 460-8809 or at PhotosfromHomeProject@gmail.com.
